cordoba is fine quality for the price you pay, similar to most others in the price range. the nut width is something she really needs to sort out for herself. even 1/16 makes a big difference in feel. i love a 1 11/16 nut, but a 1 12/16 feels huge to me

Thanks, Jeremy. I may take her to Sam Ash without knowing where we're going. She really doesn't like going to music stores.

Went the Cordoba C5-CE. My wife loves it. The first day she the neck feels "different" (from her Ibanez steel string acoustic), but it's been smooth sailing ever since. She's finder fingerpicking a lot easier.
