O.K. pickup gurus,what is it?

This was in a friend of mines guitar.He said he got it from his brother inlaw wha said it was out of an old Les paul.Im thinkin WOW a real PAF!So we take it out of his guitar and now Im thinkin what the hell is it?Anyone have an idea?Thanks,Jason

take out one of the adjusting screws and see if the bobbin is cream?

Pulled out one screw and it looks like it has black bobbins.Also I cant tell if it is waxed potted or not.Jason

Looks like a 70's-80's stock Gibson. They potted them in epoxy for awhile.
