Obl?

Hey,

I just won this OBL

from ebay. I know OBL= Original Bill lawrence or Official, I dont remeber for sure and I know Epiphone had something to do with these pups but anyway Do any of you kno anythinag about this pup?

Is it a Ceramic or maybe A5?

I know alot about Bill Lawrence pickups but, I really dont know anything about OBL's. I wish I could help.

I saw a Gibson/Epi Nighthawk Bridge bucker that said OBL the other day (the slanted one). Don't know anything more. Thay are probably a line made for Gibson/Epi.

Unfortunately, I think the "OBL" pickups that Epiphone and some other foreign manufactured guitars have been using in the last few years have nothing to do with Bill Lawrence or the OBL pickups he made in the 80's.

They're foreign made, and I don't mean in West Germany. I don't know what kind of quality they are.
