I had the opportunity to play an original Hagstrom Swede (not the new ones they're making in Korea nowadays) and a mid-70's Ibanez Artist through my AD30 today... and holy crap! Those things sounded AWESOME! The lower-output pickups sounded so amazing with the Orange it was unreal.
The best part, though, was knowing I could actually AFFORD these guitars. I did a quick check of EBay, and although they're not very common (especially the Hagstrom), it looked like they could be had for under $1000. (The Ibanez looked to be going for an average of $600-900)
If anyone's looking for a cool old guitar, definately check these out if you get the chance.
