What is recommended. Does anyone know what kind andy summers uses in many of his soloes?

I don't know about Andy Summers, but I recommend the Boss OC-3.

OC-3 I havent tried, but the OC-2 is good. I know the OC-3 has additional built-in drive and polyphonic octave, but I have yet to try it to see how useful it is.

OC-3 is jam packed with options, but the OC-2 is a great, straightforward octave pedals.
