OD PSA (Rocktron Austin Gold content)

I just saw this deal, and thought somebody might like an Austin Gold. I've heard great things about it, and for $40, somebody should be able to afford to try it. Isn't it supposed to be a poor man's Klon Centaur?

I owned one at one time (was stolen), so I can post a review now.

It's basically a pretty transparent OD with VERY light amounts of hair/grind on the notes. Bit of high end push like a treble booster.

It's a better example of a "more from your amp" type pedal than as a stand alone OD like a TS or something. Best for an already driven amp, or to push another OD pedal.

GOBS of boost on tap (30db) so it makes the front end of my amps sing.

The pre-bass control is the only tone control on it...and it adds or takes away bass before the OD, so you can beef up single coils, or brighten up an LP.
