This is long overdue.

Like 33 years too long.....replacing a long lost friend.

1980 Ibanez Iceman IC-50 - the Super 70's sound fantastic and it plays like my old one, feels like coming home. It's a refin and it's certainly not flawless but it's kinda perfect anyway.

Omg spirit brother I got the 1980 dt50 haha. I love it! Yours is awesome congrats. What's the official colour on that? My DT is blue but its more aqua or turquoise yours looks like a midnight blue.

haha my buddy has that DT50 as well, the color should be Regal Blue. I think someone redid this to look like Paul Gilbert's, it's pretty close to the color of his model. The finish on the neck needs to be re-done, should be able to get the color matched.

I dig the color so I took a chance. All the guts and hardware are original which is nice, all fully functional too. Did a quick setup when I got it and played the hell out of it. Was like a time machine....

The Iceman/Mirage (Artist 2663) was a tribute to several important Japanese guitar designs. The horn was a tip of the hat to the Yamaha SGV
