Well forumites, I'm here to announce that my Warmoth Tele came in earlier today. Here's the details:
Ash Tele body
HxS setup
Les Paul style control placement
Recessed Schaller FR
Transparent Red finish (LOOKS TOTALLY AMAZING!!!)
Maple Tele neck
Ebony fretboard
No fretboard markers, just side markers
Gold frets (Which again look outstanding)
Wizard neck shape
I'll have it set up with an Invader, which I'll probably customize for a different sound (ex. replacing pole pieces), and then a Sustainiac Stealth Sustainer pickup in the neck, along with a EMG PA2 for a little solo boost.
I opened up the packaging today, utterly (but happily) shocked that UPS didn't smash anything. Everything is fantastic, and it's probably gonna be the best $2,000 I'll ever spend.
Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera, although once my sister comes home I'll see if she can snap some photos and upload them to her computer, then e-mail them to me, just so I can show off the great workmanship put into my guitar.
I have nothing but good things to say about the product Warmoth produced for me, and not only did I not have to wait very long, but damn, she just looks ****ing outstanding.
I'd specifically like to thank Aaron at Warmoth for answering any questions of mine, and putting up with the long order form I had him make up.
Anyways, before this becomes a wall of text, I should get pictures up either tomorrow evening (7:00 Central) or Friday afternoon (4:00 Central). In the mean time, I'M ****ING STOKED!!!
