I guess, I just wont be buying any pedals or anything anytime soon. So I wanted some versatility when it came to buying an amp. You know?
Anyway, thanks mate.
I was interested in the Warhead, from Randall I think. But I cant seem to find it on their site. Name change perhaps?
And as of my budget dont worry about it too much. I can pull some strings, but used price ranges would help. Sound clips would help ALOT! Thanks a bunch dudes.

If you buy a dual rectifier used, be aware that some of the older models are 2 channel amps.
Besides that, the single rectifier only uses a solid state rectifier, where as the dual rectifier is switchable between a solid state and a tube rectifier. So, You'll have a bit more tweakability with the dual recto.
I've seen a single rectifier rect-o-verb head around here in very good condition for about $850 US used. They'll probably hover around that range.
AFAIK, the warhead isn't produced any more since dimebag left washburn/randall. They seem to go pretty cheap on ebay nowadays. Though, its still a solid state amp.
I'd suggest that you check out a few in the store before you make your final decision though. Let your ears be the judge

Yea I'll try to find a store with a couple of Mesa/Boogie amps. I'll also try Randall stuff aswell. I've noticed that about the dual rectifier aswell. I think I also saw someone selling a "single rectifier solo head" but which had two channels. Kind of weird.
OH! And yea, yo KGM I'm wide awake and ready to hear that amp man. Though I just kind of woke up .. Lol!.

You say you need a lot of power. The difference in actual volume between a 50W and a 100W might only be 3 to 5 %. The difference is headroom.
I have played thru the Ubershell and I thought it had way to much gain for my taste. I preferred the Extacy. I bought a Shiva and I love it. I have a EL34 80W 1 12" combo. Its heavy, but it has serious tone. I don't think this will have enough gain for what you want. And as others already stated they will cost a lot more than you want to spend. I paid 1500 fo my SHhva used. The thing to do is go find a music store that has some or all of the amps you are interested in and play thru them. Then save your $ and buy the one thats right for you!

Thing that sucks is that I believe the only place that has some is a bit far from my city. Driving to a city just to try out amps isnt really needed for now lol.
Oh and, I'll be gigging with the amp. Our band will be playing in the big frikken auditorium we have in the school in front of a couple hundred people. Since our drummer is super frikken loud. I figured I needed more gain lol.

dude, i still stand by peavey amps (lol)
i have a transtube 212, and for me, its very easy to get that pantera sound, and the AX7 sound.
just EQ and its amazing.
i get the EXACT "strength of the world" tone
and the pantera tone is a sinch.
what guitar do you have?

Okay, I've got three clips of the Mesa Single Rec for you. Each is played with a '94 Les Paul Standard, Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge. I didn't change the EQ for any of the clips, only the gain toggle switch setting. The gain settings are, from lowest to highest: raw, vintage and modern. The gain knob is set at about 12:00 (i.e., 50%). This was recorded at just above bedroom levels; cranking the gain and the master knobs gives you truly ruthless distortion, so what you're hearing is just the tip of the iceberg.
Now for the obligatory sound quality disclaimer: I recorded these tracks in the thirty minutes I had tonight between cleaning the kitchen after dinner and putting the kids to bed. Don't expect studio quality here.
Clip 1: Raw
Clip 2: Vintage
Clip 3: Modern
The volume on the "Modern" clip is lower because I accidentally screwed with the volume on the recording software when laying down the track.
Let me know if you want to know the knob settings for these clips. Like I said, everything's the same with the exception of the gain setting toggle on the amp.

Sweet man, love the master of puppets. But ultimatly, that seems like a pretty versatile amp since you didnt screw with the EQ. Though those settings to my ears all seem the same a bit but just gradually thicker, more compact and responsive.
Sometime when you can, could you try a really crunchy sound like Pantera or Metallica or the like? That would make my day, nice playing too!
Oh and look what I found, this crate. The Crate GT3500H head, I saw a guy on youtube play Walk and I'm broken. And he has the exact sound for each song. It's pretty much what I need I guess. Lol.

I thought you said you hated Solid State? I would say go for an older Randall RG series combo, like the RG100SC. Great SS tone. If you want to go tube, a 5150 combo is a good option, or get a Triple X head and a nice cab. Godly tube tone.
