True indeed! I wonder how they would market his Sustainer & Roland equipped, Kahler-tailed, freaky paintjob model? From what I hear, Belew is working on a sig Parker.

Fender has endorsees known for usally 1 'sound' (usually a really great sound, but one sound none the less). Belew gets so many sounds out of his instrument I don't think they would know where to start. No one who knows who Belew is could possibly think that just buying his guitar would get them close to sounding like him.

I don't see a single thing about the EJ Strat (besides some other guy's favorite pickups in them) that you couldn't do for a lot less than $1600...try warmoth or USACG.
