the g.a.s. bug has bit me in the backside!
here's the scoop!
picked this tele up in a trade for my washburn hb-35 a month or so ago after playing it in the store and liking it quite a bit.
it's a Tokai Goldstarsound Tele (52'ri although no skunk stripe). the actual color as a bit more scotch in the butterscotch than yellow (in the pics) and the neck as a darker tint as well!
the finish is in really good shape and it only has a couple tiny dings. i'll get pics of them when i get the chance tonight or tomorrow. the pickguard has some light pickscratches and the frets have no fretwear.
the neck is what i like about it the best...it's huge and the finish on it is really thin...almost giving it the feel of an oiled neck!
pickups are decent and everthing works...the volume pot has a tiny bit of a scratch in it...but nothing a new $5.00 pot probably wouldn't fix.
the nut is kinda bleh and i was waiting to get a new one and set it up with lower action when i bought new pups.
the tuners are solid and work well.
i'm thinking $299.99 plus actual shipping and handling would be fair as i've seen them go for no less than this and in most cases more!
here's a few pics of it...like i said...actual color is darker in person (stupid flash!) i'll be putting the original silver barrel knobs back on when i ship it!
