Nice playing! But I do agree with Erik: to much hum and noise.
Whenever I check out a You Tube home video of a guitarist and it starts out like that (lots of hum, hiss and noise before he even starts playing) I know what's coming next:
that generic bagful of angry bumble bee guitar tone and, usually, lots of guitar gymnastics.
Can you do those tricks with a little less overdrive, hum and hiss? You know, EVH didn't use nearly as much distortion as most of the guys who try to play like him.
Nice playing - just a bit generic tone wise.
I like the V-30's better - and for the same reasons that everyone else who liked them better liked them better.
