Ok, Stupid n00b question...

I've never wired pickups or anything before, but I'm in the midst of putting an SH-6n and a TB-6 in my american Deluxe Strat. Looking at the wiring diagram it seems ridiculously easy. It's just the PUP's, a 3-way switch, and a single volume. However the Diagram shows the switch as looking like there are three connections below and one above, or something. Look at any 3-way diagram on SD site and you'll see. how does that correspond to an ACTUAL 3-way blade switch that has 4 connecttors on each side... I just dont get it

if you look up the diagram for dual humbucker Telecaster, it'll show you how to do a 3-way blade setup. it's a real PITA in my opinion trying to run a tiny "jumper" wire between tabs on the 3-way. the 5-way is easier.
