OK, Who got to play the Hamer Talladega at NAMM?

Re: OK, Who got to play the Hamer Talladega at NAMM?

I have been told by two of my friends that played it that I will HAVE to have one. It was fantasic sounding and was BEEFY as one put it. Chunky P90 sounds to Ripping Rawk tones. Neither went into to much depth but they loved it. One was a guitar dealer, one was not.

Sheeesh! -I never saw somebody buy so many guitars.
Dude gets a new $1000+ guitar every month. Wish I had that kind of disposeable income. Must be nice.

Thanks for using another picture of me for your avatar.

Well thanks for busting on me with your signature over on the Dean board. I figured I owed you one. :6:
You are the master of hit and run.

Reality on the signature line is I liked it. Had nothing to do with you. Other than you wrote it. Guess I should have quoted you.

Are you really gonna embarass yourself here too?

You don't seem to worry about embarrassing yourself with all the personal info and photos of yourself that you post on ten different message boards, so what should I worry about.

Actually you posted your Dean signature to engratiate yourself to your little internet friends and take a jab at me in the process. You know exactly what you are doing and you are good at it. I'll give you credit for that. You always try to come away as if you are the victim and you did nothing wrong or provocative.

If you were a decent person, you wouldn't have purposely used that as your signature. You know where it came from and you know the sentiment behind it, just like your thumbs up picture to me.

Please, let's just get back to the issue at hand... the Hamer Talladega.

My question, is it more LP or more Tele? Or is it something altogether different? What are the tones like, and what does it inspire when you play it?

The Seymour custom shop video about the pickups talks about the Burton-buchanan sound, but I would associate that with a tele.

More pics would be nice.

The Hamer Fan site is pretty useless for the most part. I looked at the thread, and it was more about other guitars and what people thought Hamer should do than what they are actually doing.

I was hoping to read something from someone who had some real knowledge and experience with the Talladega.

Fair enough.

Someday soon I'm planning a trip over to the east coast of Florida. I heard Wolfe's in Jupitar was getting a couple but it wont be for awhile. I buy guitars from a guy in Kansas who runs Funky Munky Music, I'll ask him to come on the Duncan board and contribute an opinion perhaps. He is not a Hamer dealer however so no pitch on that brand if he does.
