Yea, im really excited about my 63 bandmaster. I just got back from a 2 day jam-i stayed the night at a buddy's house and we practiced from 2-8 pm, then from 10 am to around 8 pm with a couple of food breaks. I really put the amp to the test and the tone never faltered. With my Spina TS9 i ran the volume of the amp on normal channel at 3 and it was screaming.
Well, considering that i only have 2 eq knobs, how does the setting of these knobs affect the eq? If one wants a smooth round tone, is it recommended to put the treble low and the bright switch on, or the bright off and the treble high enough to keep the speakers running clean. Keep in mind that im using notoriously crappy peavey scorpions that are a good 30 years old...
