OMG! James Bond needs this!

Re: OMG! James Bond needs this!

Its a nice guitar, but when these guys build a Les Paul wanna be and leave 2 knobs off, its not tonally going to work for me. Beautiful woods and great workmanship.

That's not a Les Paul! It's a set-neck, 3-on-a-side, maple-decked, P-90-equipped Telecaster. So, the number of knobs is correct.

Re: OMG! James Bond needs this!

Custom Duncans, nickel hardware, hardtail... not yer grandpa's Hamer!

Actually, if tour Grandpa bought his in the early 80's, he might have gotten something similar (Dimarzio's instead of Duncans, though).

My '81 Special has the maple top, Sustain-block bridge, and nickel hardware.

In my opinion, Hamer needs to bring back that bridge design on more of their guitars.

I loove Gooooooooooooooooooold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (in a creepy Holland voice)

That is one one sharp ass instrument.

Re: OMG! James Bond needs this!

Real interesting gold finish!

I think I could deal with this control layout better than the normal Hamer control layout. And only having two knobs works ok for me on humbucker Telecasters, but I'd still rather have the full four knob Les Paul setup.

Re: OMG! James Bond needs this!

that's gotta look fine on stage

I'd want mine with a natural back and neck though.

I really like the simplicity and looks of the Talladega.

Re: OMG! James Bond needs this!

That's a nice guitar. Is it just me though, or does the music on that page sound out of tune?
