The Classic version has a lot of the vibe of my Cube....
And might be very similar to a Microbe, which I was looking at. But damn, the sound quality from this thing was amazing!

Again - the effects / features amp tone was not what got me. Lot's of people do that well today. It was the sound quality of the tiny @$$ little speakers.
Yamaha cross-pollinated some of their stereo guys in this project. Just frickin' awesome. I mean really, truly, impressive - says a guy with a nakamichi stereo...
Yeah - I'd like to hear the Boss too. And I may still get the Frontman 15! (Because, like $25, for playing clean blues lines etc...)

I had the THR 10C for about 6 months or so and, considering its size found it to be pretty good but the lack of a dedicated footswitch and its limited user interface frustrated me to the point that I got rid and moved on to a Blackstar ID15TVP plus 4 way footswitch.
OK, so it is larger than the THR10C but it certainly puts it in the shade performance wise, the Blackstar amp models suit me to a tee as do its effects.

Had a few at the house, including the green version. Great little practice amps. But the lack of real thump just couldn't do it for me. The tones are great... I just like MORE of it. With a bigger speaker... it would work for me.
Btw... the THR100 amps were a big disappointment. Didn't have near the tone that the 10s have.
