Has anyone seen an on-guitar multi-band EQ available for electric guitars?
I've researched the pickups, pots, caps, wood tone issues and I think that after you're selected all the hardware properly for a particular guitar and tone you want, we're all still stuck with this overly simplistic tone control that essentially only trims the treble. What about leaving treble alone and cutting the mids? Boosting mids? Boosting bass, etc.? And it would be far preferable to have a multi-band EQ on the guitar rather than on a stomp-box. I know EQ is available on stompboxes. I'm not concerned with those.
