saw this posted on net and all I want for my hsh strat going to wire up in the morning.But wiring shows no ground to tremolo is that ok .puting in jazz neck ,pearly gate trembucker bridge and this might be weird for middle surf 2 antiquity that is rprw wondering if cuz of that i would wire same as the plan. plans says .022 cap i was thinking .047 with 500 pots

sorry about my writing still recovering from head injury . I do like evh sayings like modes are some kind of pent with some funny notes added in

Always ground the bridge. Otherwise, you may have another injury beyond the head injury.

lol sure dont want to get another injury.Couple of years ago was on net and some dude was saying wiring amps should be done by pro like him . anyways he rewired amp and got a hell of a shock on his own work.

A lot of time that wire is omitted from diagrams. It is an essential wire for all passive pickup schemes (not too sure about actives) so they just assume you will put one on. Perhaps it is left off for diagram clarity.

I have noticed a trem ground missing on several diagrams I have come across. I think it assumes you know it is supposed to be there. Perhaps techs who were wiring guitars before the internet knew this, but a lot more people wire their guitars now than back then- the diagrams haven't caught up.

Thanks for the info . it just didnt seem right not having trem ground not shown.
