On the bench - Motor Ave Belair

One of my clients recently had a Motor Ave Belair built for him. He's played it about a month, and brought it over to touch up the action just a taste. It didn't need much at all, just a few strokes of a nut file on a couple strings. This is a beautiful guitar and beautifully built. I was impressed. Look inside the f-hole and the back is finished as nicely as the outside. This one reminds me of 60's Gretsch and Rickenbacker work - just really well done. Loaded with TV Jones Filtertrons, it's quiet and exhibits sparkling clean tones through the Twin. Plug into the Marshall and it's metal time! Very versatile - I like it a lot.

There's a lot of things to like about that, but the pickguard sure isn't one of them!

woof, you're not wrong there
I think it would look a whole lot cooler if that whole pickguard area was the same as that brown accent on the lower left. Maybe a bit sharper in design than the pickguard too to match
