one guitar one amp one stompbox

if yoiu caould only have one of each...what would it be...anything you want, weather you have it right or not...just pick one guitar, one amp, and one stopmbox...that said no "dreaming"..."I want a guitar that sounds like a Strat a Tele, a Les Pul, an ES-175, a 12 string, a Martin D-28, and an amp that sounds like a Plexie and a JCM 800 and a Twin and a Tweed Deluxe, and a JC-120...I think you get the idea...what would you like to have?

Re: one guitar one amp one stompbox

Guitar: Early 80s USA N/T BC Rich Warlock, all mahogany w/ a pair of Duncan Distortions

Amp: My 1982 Marshall JCM 800 2204 (see signature)

Pedal: Barber Electronics Direct Drive Super Sport.

For me, this is the ultimate Metal set-up.

Cheers,

CJ

Re: one guitar one amp one stompbox

I'd go for:

Fender CS relic nocaster with jumbo frets
G2D Classic overdrive
Fender Bassbreaker (can I sneak a fender outboard reverb unit too?)

Re: one guitar one amp one stompbox

Guitar: Custom Tele (P90 neck, tele Bridge)
Amp: Deluxe Reverb
Pedal: Budda Zenman

Re: one guitar one amp one stompbox

I'd want a Suhr H-S-S Alder/rosewood with a thin flame maple veneer and a chunky C birdseye neck with an overwound Custom 5 tremspace (slightly better mids) with 2 Surfer singles.

Bogner Ecstasy 101B with 4-12. Extra removable back panel for halfback option.

Yamaha multiFX floorboard stompbox......forgot the model name.

Re: one guitar one amp one stompbox

GUITAR: A custom made neck-through-body cherry-red SG clone (w/ Duncan 59's, Grover pegs, solid mahogany, rosewood fingerboard, trapezoiud markers and an abalone inlay of a Great Horned Owl in the peghead)

AMP: Traynor YCV-40 (have it already)

STOMPBOX: Yamaha Magic Stomp (getting one not too long from now)

That'd make this Owl very happy!

Guitar - Yamaha Mike Stern Telecaster (the one I own...currently in the shop...I miss it!)

Amp - Mesa Boogie Duel Rectifier (50 Watt)...I'm sorry, I have to! Some of my favorite records are thanks to some form of Boogie!

Pedal - You know...I'm going to have to go with either a Boss TR-2 Tremelo or the Boss OC-3 Octave...I own both, use neither extensively, but would like to find ways to be creative with 'em.

Re: one guitar one amp one stompbox

Orange have just put out a 'rockerverb' twin channel head and combo. sounds like what you're after...
