Great playing, great finish, excellent fretwork, great sounding, great tuners, lightweight, great balance, more fun to play than an SG.

The stock pups aren't bad, but IMO replace them with Duncans. It's a fire breathing monster with a Distortion in the bridge, and smooth as silk with a Demon in the neck.

It is odd I know but I REALLY like the looks of the white one that you posted. I feel that no other color suits it as well, except perhaps the natural but with a black pickguard and either nickel or gold hardware.

I really REALLY want to put my mitts on one to get a feel for how it is like but they don't carry them here so it's either an international order (for 252€, approx 325 USD plus possible S&H) or a second hand if the chance arises...

$200 is still high for these IMO. The ones with the mini hums and satin finish are much better guitars.

These guitars kick ass! They absolutely replaced any desire I have for an SG. I would love a model with neck binding.

I gave my white one to my son to use at college since he liked it so much, my black one is my main stage guitar these days.

I swapped out the bridge for a Tone Pros and dropped it SD's (59n/C5b) kept the coil splits and flipped the pots for the bridge position so the vol is the last knob, makes it a whole lot easier to get to.

Fret work on mine were far better than most Epi's I've owned and they're both really resonant. I was really surprised how good these were since I had read mixed reviews. I've yet to find one with miniHB's that is as good, if I do I will most likely grab it and pop in Firebird pickups. Thinking I'll probably buy an old one at some point.

I bought one a few years ago when MF was blowing them out. It was a fun guitar to play, but it came from the factory with a snapped truss rod. Sent it back and after that had no desire to get another one.

Well a snapped rod would put a damper on it.

Neither of mine have had an issue but these are still Epi's so anything is possible. My black is easily one of my favorite guitars I have ever owned for number of reasons.

Odd, I dont care for the look of these, but I played one when they first came out and loved it.. I kinda dig the look now, cuz its retro cool and then seeing Wayne kramer killing on one back in the day, made it cooler
