Ah. I missed that. You could always try Hot R bridge Cool R neck and then try whatever else you have in the middle. Fortunately, Strats are one of the easier guitars to swap pups.

I do want to buy another pickup or 2 and pots for a new pick guard so I can switch between the two.

if thats the case hot rails goes in the bridge unless you wire it in parallel. bridge hot rails in the neck is usually very thick and dark
