Anyone played one of these yet??? Seems like Kranks arent really catching on?? Youtube vids of these are scarce and not overly impressive. I see they have a nineteen 80 jr out now...

You've got a Splawn and you can't nail that 80's tone? I think you just have GAS.

Oh, totally LOVE my QR!!! But doesnt mean Im not curious... Besides, I think I originally posted before I got my splawn and since I see they now have a JR and I never heard anything about the nineteen 80, I was wondering..

A few of the krank amps demoed here, including the 1980. Sound quality is probably not the best.

I made it halfway through, then I just couldn't take it anymore. I'm interested in eighties tones out of that, but I just don't hear any of them. And his playing... Ooh, boy...

It sounds suspiciously like me farting around with my Mesa/Boogie Rocket 44 combo. That is to say, not as impressive as the guy is probably hoping.
