copy one of the pics posted in this thread send it to Koichi and ask him if he can get one. Thats what I did a while ago and he said yes. Not sure why they`re not on the site but it`s worth a shot.

As I mentioned, scored a real nice Epi Japan LP Custom form Wattage, I sold my '70 LP Custom ages ago to help with the down on my house...I pretty much 'gave' it away with my BF Fender Deluxe Reverb :smack: but when I got this black beauty, I'm happy again..it's every bit as nice as my original (actually better...no buckle rash), awesome fit/finish and with SD Jazz and CC pups, this bad boy probably sounds better...I remember as a kid, 'made in Japan' meant cheap junk...no more.

yeah I like those Epis with the Gibson headstock. Theres one here, a goldtop for dirt cheap.
I think some folks can`t get past that " 50s / 60s MIJ meant crap " thing. If they could only see the old temples that are completely made of wood ,are hundreds of years old... and are still standing and in great condition that outdated point of view would change. Making guitars ain`t neuro surgery now is it. It`s wood and steel... and working wood is something the natives here understand profoundly.

Thanks Y2...has a pro setup and real MOP inlay swap, Watts did the creme rings and gold speed knobs as I mentioned that's how my old LP was...this black beauty is frickin' nice! :32: Plays and sounds killer!
Sneaky...I'd go broke in Japan...Hoss may be paying you a visit soon... :burnout: hehe

By the time summer ends at least 80% of the Seymour Duncan Forum will own an Edwards..

WHERE can one get a used one? That is the million dollar (or $823) question. Where can we find something like this used here in the USA?

eBay! I tried to contact 4-5 japanese stores selling Edwards, but nothing!

Ishibashi is the best place but when they show up they usually sell quickly. Don`t feel bad... a lot of Japanese shops don`t answer me either and I`m in Japan.

What is Ishibashi? Is it a guitar store? Is it a Japanese Ebay?

Nevermind. I found it. Big place and I think it will be tough to catch some of these used edwards guitars before they are already gone. I'll give it the ol' college try though. I would LOVE to have a used black beauty guitar or maybe one of those quilted maple models (the blue one in particular). I wonder if they will let me buy a used LP and then have them get one of the blue quilted models for me to play with too (not used). I would really like to give that a try.

I've got a trip to Kansas City coming up soon, but after that is over, I'm gonna get one of these fantastic guitars.

Lol..Yeh i suspect at leat 20 ppl from this frum alone will be bidding on the first Edwards that pops up on ebay..
