Cooler Than You'd Think,or No?

Sometimes two tastes you like separately do not combine into a specialty. This one is cooler than I had thought but still... I think I just grew bored of the evh stripes being painted onto whatever (except where they came from, I view that one as a sort of an icon).

Maybe that, or maybe it's just hard to top that Screaming Leaming orange and black tiger striped neck through warlock that completely blew me away. What's been seen cannot be unseen. I am so lucky to have become GAS-proof to a degree, or I'd be in a mental hospital now tied to a bed crying "I want that axe soooo bad!".

Two things.

He painted over a semi rare release guitar or the neck came off one. Why?

The Black and Yellow is a cooler combo to me. VHII, featuring Eddie's early Mighty Mite/Charvel guitar with the color scheme in the artwork, is a monster leaving one to wonder if that guitar had much to do with that album's forceful guitar sound. The Red/Black IS overdone to me also. To much striping to me. Less is more would have looked better.

Actually, it had absolutely nothing to do with that album's guitar sound.

There ya go.... :headbang:

Ya'll know that guitar is buried with Dimebag right?
Very Cool of Eddie. Dean Guitars had made Eddie a Dime Razorback in the Red/White/Black finish but when it was announced about the buried guitar they gave him a Yellow/Black one instead. Dean still has the R/B one at HQ.

I have a really nice shot of Ed from July 1979 St. Paul Civic Center Theater with the Y/B one. What freaking great show from 5th row center. AHHH My Youth!!! :headbang:
