I honestly have had not had a problem at all. I run it through a vetta with mesa recto cab , which has a pretty impressive noise gate, so feedback is not an issue at all. It definitely doesn't sound thin to me, it sounds very thick and deep in fact. I have also played it through my friend's marshall dsl, and while I didn't think it sounded as good(of course I don't think my solid bodies do either) it still had a very good tone, and feedback wasn't a big issue. I think if it was a true hollowbody like a gibson es it would be a problem, but it hasn't been a problem at all with the C1 E/A.

The C1 Classic I played the other day however was somewhat of a gem. Nice, really playable neck, with pretty big frets (not sure what size, but bigger than the ones on my Fenders). The Seymour Duncan pickups in it were obviously good. The guitar was pretty resonant, and when I strummed a big fat G-chord, it felt alive on my lap. That's my big resonance test - the G-chord. :p

The frets are 6100's, the big boys. The omens are the entry level schecters. I have been super impressed with the blackjacks, classics, and my C1 E/A. They all have magogany bodies and both the C1 blackjack and my E/A have been very resonant acoustically as well.

Hmm, I think it is almost identical, i played them both at the same time, i think it was a classic, it looked like one. and it was nice, i was playing through a Groove Tubes single amp and getting some good tones.

Funny, it seems that the Exoctic I played isnt made anymore, the one i played was natural grain, the new models are pretty much the same, but in color, they look pretty cool. The only thing you cant see in the pictures is that the the back is a different wood that the top, that is my favorite part.

I have one. Put together really well. Quality parts. Plays really easy. I put some good Duncans in it and it sounds pretty good. I don't think it will ever blow me away with killer tone, but it sounds good. For the price, I couldn't beat it.

sometimes, just to change the look, i wish i could switch the backwood with the maple top. the back also looks very cool.

just for the record, the Tempest has a thicker neck profile than the rest of the Schecter line.

The last time I played some at Guitar Center I liked the Grypon 7, Raider and the Hellraiser 6.

I've asked a number of times, but so far without result: Would someone with a reasonably recent Schecter look in the control cavity and see if it says "COR-TEK" on the backs of the (unswitched) pots?

I've been repeatedly asked who actually manufactures the Korean Schecters, and though it would almost certainly be Cor-Tek since Samick stopped Korean production several years ago, it would be nice to have conclusive evidence of this.
