How many of you guys own or have owned one. What do you think of it? Anything special about it that puts it ahead of other floor processors like the Digitech RP stuff?
Judging by the stuff I've played, I like the sound of the Line6 modeling stuff better than the all-in-one Digitech gear. I just have seldom been able to get convincing tones from the RP-series going back from the RP-5 through the RP-100.

I own a PODxt Live and i've played a X3 live. They're good at what they do. I mean it's not spot on generally in terms of tones but that doesn't mean you can't get useful tones out of it. it has it's place to play at home or to use for effects or recording on your computer. I'm really not a fan of using the amp models thru a amp/cab/combo for your general amp sound. Tends to be pretty sterile digital and lacking in character but I haven't found any modeler i like when it comes to using the thing live.
I'm not familiar with the POD Plus, but the new HD series are really good. Still not ideal for live use unless you're running direct but more than acceptable for home/solo use; especially with a good FR/FR speaker.
