I've never messed around with the head but I love the 1x12 combo. Fun amps they be.

I have heard a few of their combo amps also and they have great sound. The HD-100 is tube based and produces some excellent tones from what I have heard on the net. I want to hear the unit for myself though.
I have to get to a city with a bigger shop though as our town has no line 6 amps.
Maybe I will see if I can get one of their combo amps for now.
Did the 1 X12 have effects and if so how did you find the effects?
I have been using a Zoom 9.2tt for effects lately but I may sell it off if I go with the HD-100 head.

Yes, the combo has all the same effects. They're easily accessible through a front button setup and display screen.

A decade ago, I always said modeling will be better when it's fed into a tube power section. And that's what they did. As usual, the sound is mostly your ability to dial in good tones and play good yourself. The complainers usually do the opposite.
