Orange amps and Blues Saraceno?

I've heard the Orange amps clips from blues saraceno site and it has an amazing tone, what model did he play there? I assume it's the AD30 the AC30 copy? If so, what amp would be good for that sound, but not with the Orange price tag? A Laney perheps?

Well a Laney VC30 would be like a VOX AC30 but i don't know if it will be like the orange (from what i have heard the orange has a bit more marshallness in it then a VOX but is still quite similiar)

I can't speak from personal experience but I've heard a lot of positive stuff about the Laney ones.

Blues Saraceno sounds amazing through whatever amp he plays. His tone through the old Silvertone just kills.

That's not hijack, that's good info. So can't you think of anything similliar in tone but not in that price range?

BTW the silvertone are pretty good amps, the have some good clean fender tones and they're all tube so it's not like he used a **** amp to produce that tone with the tweak fuzz...

I've not really heard another amp that sounds like an Orange, but if you want an AC30 type tone, then a Laney VC30 might get you in the ballpark.

I doubt it'd sound exactly like an AC30 (what would), but it may get you clsoe to the sound you're after

It's true. Having Blues Saraceno do clips for any product is like cheating, because he seems to know just what licks to play to make any tone work.

BUT, those tones he gets with the tweak fuzz are very achievable with a nice tube amp. I use a '59 fender bassman type amp with a bit more gain, and I can get those thick, syrupy fuzz tones with the tweak fuzz.
