Not sure, Oranges are particular and the best way will be to hear them yourself (such a classic answer no?Which Orange would be right for me?
I'm starting a new band. The guitarist is more blues/classic rock orientated and I'm more 90s rock, so our sound will be a cross between. Think Black Keys meets Chili Peppers meets early 90s (athenauem, collective soul, gin blossoms ) meets 80s gnr.
Which Orange has the best cleans? I'm talking almost Fenderish, but sparkling, spanky, chimmey, add a touch of chorus/reverb/delay into the mix to turn them into lushy goodness?
great descriptions here! I agree.
I have all types of orange gas after being a member of their forum forum.orangeamps.com/viewforum.php?f=2
considering a tiny terror combo, humbuckermusic.com has oranges cheap. then putting a neo speaker in it and reducing its weight 7 pounds. AD series and some great pedals seems right for you! tiny terror does not have any cleans at all. thunderverb and rockerverb are high gain monsters for the most part but that can act like a swiss army knife. mine is awesome cause it has a great attenuator built in, and handles low end DOOM like a champ![]()

Can the AD have both a nice fendery clean and a good overdriven channel?

I'm leaning more towards either the AD30 or Rockerverb 50. Howmuch headroom does the 30 have?
Am I the only one thinking that maybe what he wants is NOT an Orange?
Nope. He kinda went to them for the opposite of what they are really known for. Very cool amps, one of my favorite companies (even though I don't play dirty often), I just don't think he would be happy with one.
