Well, depending on the price the 15 might be on my list... I need more Orange in my life again, if nothing else I miss the way my AD5 looked on my shelf... Although I could not deal with the AD5 :p I'd love to A/B one of these with a Tiny Terror combo.

I liked the original rocker 30 fine, although I did sell it because I could replicate the dirt channel almost perfectly with my former TV50. These are great in the sense that they are the same design but with a bit more options and refinement. I'm also curious about the differences in tone (if any) from moving to El84s as opposed to the original EL34s.

Natural channel with only a volume knob is quite interesting.

It was nice on the original. It had quite an elastic feel and felt very neutral, like it would let the character of each guitar really show.

I was at GC yest and one of the employees was demoing a Orange Rocker 32 for another employee. Holy smokes, the thing sounded amazing!! Huge bark! ballsy as heck.. plus the headroom/bedroom feature was cool. although I didnt get to hear the bedroom setting.. but if it has the same ballsy tone, then Id LOVE to have one

Re: Orange re-releases new Rocker series.

These are dope. Of course they came out the year after i finished collecting all of my dream amps because this is essentially all i wanted in the first place.

Of course, having tracked down all those dream amps and set up a stereo pedalboard, it's nice to think of using the 32 for those small gigs or whatever...

I imagine the old British early 00s Rocker 30s get scooped up and become more valuable due to these but ive never seen any real problems with the newer Chinese Oranges so that's just hype and labeling and 'vintage' corksniffery. I have tons of cabs and pedals so I'd probably either go cheaper and get an OR15H or spring for the AD30TCH but if i wanted a combo, or wasn't sure if i was an Orange guy or not, it would be hard not to buy the Rocker 15. It's only competition is the Fender Bassbreaker 15, and if i had to pick one, i would actually get the Fender for the 12" speaker, onboard reverb and silent record mode... but i might just be saying that because i have two Oranges and a Green already. :smokin:
