Orange Tiny Terror Tubes...

Now I wanna **** around with this amp, it's great yes but im thinking it could be exceptionally versitile... is anyone here familiar with Yelow Jackets? Or anything else which would allow me to change the EL84's about with other tubes 6L6, EL34 etc...?

I thought the Yellow Jackets were to go from either a 6L6 or El34 TO a EL84 to reduce output not the other way around.
I have no personal experience with them so I may be totally wrong. I'm sure THD has info on their site about them.

I dont think it is electronically possible to go the other way because the transformer wont be able to handle it but im not 100% sure on that.

The Matamp minimat has a choice of 6v6 or el84 so I think if you swapped the socket out and changed a couple resistors you could do that.

sell the orange, by the new matamp Little Rock. same price, better tone and better workmanship. not to mention it's not in a lunch box
