Yeah, maybe. But it's got more gain then I typically think of Angus or Malcom using. More like gained out Rich Robinson (Black Crowes) or the first few VH records... not that it "nails" either but that's about the amount of gain on tap with a Lester. Still, a very chimy amp.

Sure it may have more gain on tap, but IIRC, they told that all set at 12 o´clock gives the tone. But i'm not sure, don't have the mag at me now.
