One day Id like to add a compressor to my board. I saw this Henretta Engineering Orange Whip. Its tiny so would be a small footprint on the board. Is it any good?? Any experience?? Other recommendations?? Thanks!

Wampler EGO compressor is what I use, and I like the Wampler pedals a lot....

If you want the best compressor go for the 4 knob versions, a blend control is essential.
I used a Wampler for a few years, great pedal. Thickens and enhances the tone without too much which is easy to do on compression.
Keeley makes several that are studio grade. Cali76 best of the best, depends on what you want to pay. The Cali is a pro pedal and not cheap.
Try a Wampler or a Keeley you will not be disappointed and you can find used ones in excellent condition pretty reasonable.
Henretta makes some really cool stuff, I never thought I could use a one button no external control pedal but that guys designs are really good. If you're one of those never tweak and no hassle pedal users he makes great stuff. Compression I think more than anything needs adjustment params. I am sure he has some pots inside the pedal but seems a pain to dial in but what do you do from clean to dirty tones that need different adjustments?

I am not a fan of the old classic units, those made me stop using compressors for ages. When I tried the Wampler I realized how much they had improved them and being able to control the compression like a studio rack unit. The way that pedal thickened the sound and added sustain without being unnatural and being able to keep the blend was outstanding. Keeley is pretty much the same.
