I'll just plug a pedal in. Dirt is second to cleans when I play guitar. :) The Mesa sounded really good with any amount of gain... just amazing... but the cleans didn't sound as good as I wanted.

Nice amp there! It's very difficult to make that amp sound bad, and you can take my ample experience on the matter as a mathematical proof.

Sad to hear you can't keep the Mesa too, though. I'm sure it does things the Fender won't.

A Twin with a 15 is an excellent amp. Much better than a Russian bride.

Cool amp, since Twins often sound a little sharp on the high end, and a big 15" will smooth that out.

And I'm going to steal one of your phrases - "heal the damage"......selling other stuff AFTER the new purchase.
