I ordered the kit with roasted Spruce top and back, Ebony fretboard and headstock face, stainless steel frets, Black Korina neck, Maple center block, block inlays and cream binding. Should look and sound excellent.

Sounds like a great combo and precision stuff is amazing. I put together and explorer kit from them and a quick neck glue in and all the normal setup stuff and you're there

Report when you're done. I haven't seen any Precision kits with my own eyes, but I understand they are very good quality.

I have! A friend of mine enjoys making LP's from their kits. the craftsmanship is neat and tight. Needs some work, sure, but nothing horrible. Fretwork is decent. it's more work than a Warmoth, because of the glue joint instead of just bolting in 4 screws, but largely, it's good stuff.

Black korina is a fantastic wood. The back of my Warmoth is black korina, with a satin finish- very striking.

Yes sir. I'll glue the neck on tomorrow and possibly mask off the binding ready to dye.

What kind of glue will you be using?

And, do you have a link to PGK. When I "google" it, I get one site in Canada, that only seems to have two solid-body kits. Is that the same company?

I'll be using Tite Bond II to glue the neck. PGK is in Canada and you will need to take a closer look in their offerings to find the semi hollow body kits.
