Re: original trembucker

I wonder if its the same as the PATB2 distortion? With an A5 instead of the ceramic one in the patb2 distortion stock.

Re: original trembucker

I talked to duncan about all of the PATB pups :)
here is what they said about the orginal trembucker,
" we designed the PAtb pups to work with guitars like ibanez RG's jacksons, older yamaha RGZ's,etc the original trembucker model is sort of like a JB with less out and more bass and a not so upper midrangey tone it is more balanced.
the PAtb1 is a very warm pup that sings more with the more gain you apply.
and really helps to get back some fullness in the tone of those guitars with a floyd rose." end quote

that is what i was told

:)

Re: original trembucker

thanks RG i guess hamer is included since all the late 80's-early 90's elite shredders like cali's and chaparral's came with them and JB's in everything else !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: original trembucker

Shred dog. Are you using the C-5 in your guitar yet? I'm just curious about your opinion between the JB and C-5. Those are my favorite two pickups for bridges.

Anyone know the differences between the Original trembucker and the PATB2 (DISTORTION)

duncan told me that the PATB-2 distortion one has a large ceramic magnet and is a lot more powerful with a different EQ shape.
the original is for guys that whan a more tradtional tone with more output.
it has a alnico 5 i was told
