I need some good lessons/excersizes/songs on playing fast without having to play shred/metal/harmonicmin0rz style stuff...I mean like clean jazz runs and blues/country/bluegrass style stuff.

There are a lot of instructional books/dvds for bluegrass/country lead guitar available from places like Elderly Instruments, but you don't really hear many bluegrass players using sweep picking techniques. Troy Stetina's Speed Mechanics book/CD is still one of the best. You don't have to use distortion while playing any of it, as a matter of fact the examples on many of his tracks use a clean sound.
