Wow. Sweet gear. Love the Heritage, the black strat and the lp jr's.

BTW, what happened to the Jr in the left? looks like it has a bit of duct tape behind the bridge.

PS: You really need to do a best of ;)

Re: Other Yngwie308 Guitars

Hey,it's great to be here, currently I have My Marshall 1959 Super Lead Handwired stack and my Crate Vintage Club 30 watt with a single Celestion G12H-30 Anniversary series speaker, love it for home playing.
All my old amps are gone, but not forgotten.Back in the mid nineties I hooked up with the infamous Music Ground of Leeds,England and did the dirty work, driving trucks renting them, picking up gear at the airpor, setting up at the Vintage guitar shows,ect.But..I met a lot of real cool people in 1994,including Tom Murphy of the Gibson Custom Shop/Heritage Division and Edwin Wilson, who was an assistant then and now is manager.
I had the opportunity to see and sell many very rare and cool vintage English amps.I sold my primary collection to Eric Bazilian of the Philadelphia based Hooters,I also met Pennsylvania native Tom Keifer of Cinderella, who is an amzing songwriter and guitarist, vocalist.just missed playing his famous 1959 burst,by a few minutes,I had to leave for my 3-11 shift at work, bummer!
Also I grew up in London England,my dad in the Navy stationed there.I was 11 years old and bought my first amp ,a 1967 Marshall Super lead and a 1982A 30H top cabinet 4X12,and the rare metal handled tall bottom cab, basketweave, with G12M-25's in it!I bought these at the original J&T Marshall shop in Hanwell London, many a famous musician I saw there, and I could tell hours of stories about my experiences at the mecca of Marshalls in London from 1967 to 1972!!
I love all kinds of primarily guitar based music and I have a mint.mint collection of mid sixties to mid seventies of rare English and German ppressing LP's,original hendrix on Track,Original Cream on Reaction,so many albums I can't list them, but hope to transfer them all to cd soon,if I can sort out a good method without loading up my hard drive.
Great to be here again and look forward to hearing from you, favorites for me are Tommy Bolin, early Purple,Jeff Beck,Robin Trower,Steve Stevens,Yngwie Malmsteen,Micheal Schenker recently,Gary Moore.

Re: Other Yngwie308 Guitars

Ex250,the Gary Moore Heritages are super rare,I had the crummy Schaller roller bridges and funky tailpieces, changed for Schaller Nashvilles and Gotoh nickel stoptails, plus refrets, with DiMarzio stainless steel, all of this when they were new.I have one of each worldwide set of 75.There originally supposed to be only 75 of the Amber Bursts, but Heritage sold out so soon, that they produced a second set of Almond Burst, which pissed Gary off,and he broke off ties with them.
If you get the DVD Gary Moore and the Midnight Blues Band Live at Montruex Jazz Festival 1990 on Eagle Rock Records, the guitar pictured on the cover is Gary's CM-150 Heritage, which the signature model is based on.It had stock Schaller hardware and a PJ Marx active pickup in the bridge and an EMG81 in the neck.Gary has bever played a real gary Morre Heritage model on stage or been pictured with one!!On the cover of After the War,is Gary's CM-150,with Gary's name engraved on the truss rod cover.
These guitars allthough heavy in weight are tone monsters, with the screaming EMG 81's in both positions and will kill a Zakk Wylde Gibson dead!!
The Heritages built in 1989 are built on all the original machinery in Kalamazoo,by the original craftsman that built the famous late fifties Les Pauls and they have a vibe that is so solid, they are among the finest manufactured guitars I have ever played and seen.As well as any 1959 Sunburst!
Thanks for your compliments,JMH51 I have been told that the stock Fender aged pickup covers don't fit the DiMarzio HS-3's or the YJM's correctly. It bothered me too the green covers and logos, plus a green guard, which isn't like any of YJM's stge Strats. The new '07 YJM allthough closer in specs, still has the logoed covers, the green gyard has grown on me and also it is such a pain in the ass to remove the metal screen/sheild,ect.I think the MIJ YJMST-140's have aged Fender covers without logos if you can get them from Fender Japan!!
