Ouch! This Is Just Silly Money For Any Wah Wah!

Re: Ouch! This Is Just Silly Money For Any Wah Wah!

Why'ya gotta be hatin my new wah pedal? :laugh2:

Those Thomas Organ Vox's are rare esoteric collectibles, although I'd never pay more than the $175 I've seen them go for. Honestly, I've never tried one, but there must be something that attracts people to that limited batch.

I agree with Jeff, it better include Autosuck (tm.)

Oh man...so you're saying I shouldn't have bought it? Crap, I spend like 3 hours convincing my parents that it was worth it.

Hmmmm. I have a 1960s Marshall Supa Wah that I acquired for nothing when I worked in a music shop about 25 years ago. Maybe it's time I put it on Ebay. :scratchch

Let me just say this...I wouldn't pay that much for Jimi's Vox wah...even if it was the one used on Voodoo chile...that is a great example of "VGF", Vintage Gear Fever...or it's just some numb nutz that belives that cloths really do make the man...belive me they do NOT, if the "lucky winner" of this pedal is a member here...I'm sorry if I (we) have upset you but...that is simple CRAZY...I hope you like it, you'll never get that back out of it!

A reissue Vox Clyde McCoy sounds nothing like an original from 67 simply because those 67 parts aren't available today....

An original 67 Clyde McCoy sounds nothing like another original 67 Clyde McCoy...

...for the reasons you've already given (cheap parts and poor tolerances)...

I blame pedals that turned out good on tonal voodoo.

There's a reason I don't go for vintage....when it comes right down to it, most of it was crap.
