Output differences

High folks! How goes it? :)

Wanted to ask something. I bought Duncans some time ago, but I didn't think nor bother about this problem until now.

I have a high output pickup on the bridge and a moderate output pickup on the neck position. The neck one is a lot quieter than the bridge pickup. Could it be because of pot resistances (all 3 are 500k - neck/bridge/master) and output differences? What should I do in that case?

Just to mention that I adjusted the neck pickup height, the sound changed only for a bit, but it's hardly distorted when distortion is on, plus it can barely be heard on the clean channel :/

Re: Output differences

something is wired wrong most likely. what pups are we talking about?

Re: Output differences

The bridge one is '59/Custom Hybrid, and the neck one is Jazz SH-2n mate.

I did the wiring as it was shown on Seymour Duncan schematics. Could it be I fried the neck pot?

Re: Output differences

I'll resolder them wires again then, if it's still not working right I guess it's the pot!
