I played one at the NY Amp show 2 years ago. Not impressed.

I don't like OTL amps in hifi, either.

Twilight - what didn't you like about it ?

Had a look at their site, very wordy but I can't make out if it has a tube pre-amp or not.

The clip I listened to on their website sounded a bit thin/brittle/sterile to my ears, but I can't tell whether it was the amp or the recording/pedal/EQ setttings/whatever. Also, I could'nt tell whether it had it's own preamp (no mention of that anywhere) either...

Anyway, at $1,900 or so for the 30 Watt version, I'm not actually interested in it out of anything other than idle curiosity...
