P 90s in a V?

I've been jossen for a P-90 guitar for a while now, and since I can't afford a new guitar, could I put P-90's in my V? Or would that be too much a pain in the ass?

Just put some Phat Cats in there, then it's a simple pickup change and no routing wood. Should sound nice.

I am considering the purchase of another dual HB guitar at some point with the goal of installing a set of Phat Cats -- a bit more quiet and more versatile in terms of other pickup choices than a typical dual P90 guitar.

Yeah PhatCats are the way to go, either that or get the Popa Chubby V from Epi.
