P-Rail - is the push/pull in wiring parallel or series?

In this wiring diagram for the P-Rail, when either the P-90 or Rails are selected, is it parallet or series? (That is, one of push/pulls is up, and the other is down)

Parallel. Like two singles of a Strat.
