P-rail with on-on-on mini toggle?

I just ordered a SD P-Rail 1 for my bridge position, to put in a warmoth strat I'm putting together.
I have an "on-on-on" mini toggle switch.
Can it be used to get the 3 sounds? (i.e. Humbucker, P90, single coil.)
Or, do I have to get an "on-off-on" switch?

I can solder just fine, but I am by no means a guy who "gets" how the wiring works.
So if there's someone who can show me a diagram, I'd be quite appreciative.

Thanks.

Re: P-rail with on-on-on mini toggle?

Welcome to the forum.

I use the P-Rails with on-on-on switches (rail/parallel humbucker/P90). I haven't wired it for series humbucker yet, but from what I understand it can be done with your on-on-on switch (however, it's easier with on-off-on).

This is a picture of the bottom side of an on-on-on switch and how to wire for either series or parallel in humbucking mode. The splitting to rail and P90 work for both.

W= white wire
R= red wire
B= black wire
G= green wire

Sanford/Hermetico,

Thank you guys so much!
You are the best!

Once the pickup gets here I'll give it a whirl and let you know how it worked out.

I really appreciate the help.
