Looking for blues-Classic rock. Wouldn't mind be able to do some clean tones in there.

How do you envision these two pickup sets being used? I know they are very different but can the P-rails pull off the clean tones as well? It's got me intrigued.

'99 American Strat, Maple neck, ? body.

P-Rails has very good clean tones in the rail and parallel. The P-90 has good cleans but it's a bit raunchier (that's a good thing). The series mode is heavier than the others, but in a Strat it is stil pretty clean with a full bodied tone.

I use the P-90 coil for 95% of my blues and classic rock playing...clean, slight overdrive, good solid crunch, even pretty heavy distortion. It's excellent!

Cool. I'm looking for something I can do clean but that gets really dirty. Want a lot of versatility in one guitar.

Everything Axe had my attention but this HH P-rails is crazy attractive.

I love that pup and have two in my #1 guitar. Extremely versatile and great sounding pup.

I have over two dozen guitars with lots of different pups so I've got plenty of choices, but I choose my C1 with P-Rails as my go to guitar. It can play anything I want and do it well.
