I have to break it out by settings on the 3-way toggle:
Neck only:
Parallel = 70%
P-90 = 20%
Rail = 10%
Series = 0%
Both:
Parallel = 70%
P-90 = 20%
Rail = 10%
Series = 0%
Bridge:
Parallel = 60%
Series = 20%
P-90 = 20%
Rail = 0%
I've never really been a single coil player, which is why I gravitate toward the humbucking sounds. I also used higher output pickups for most of my guitar playing life before coming around to PAF-types in the last 5-8 years. I like the Custom in my green SG better than the P-Rails in series, so I typically switch guitars when I want that sound. On the flip side, I find myself really liking the articulation of the P-Rails in parallel compared to the WLH set in my 335.
Mikelamury's post in the other thread has me thinking about the possibility of a Custom Shop bridge P-Rail for my black SG. If I could get a little more output from the rail, along with tighter bass, a bit more highs, and less mud in series, I'd be all over that.
