p-rails with Push/Pull on SG Standard

Love the idea of the p-90 combination and the humbucker option. Question - not really a fan of single coils, so could the P-rails be installed using the push pulls on my SG to use only teh P-90 option and the full HB? The triple shots are a great idea, but I like it simple.....

Welcome to the forum!

Sure, it can be split like any humbucker, although I dig the other options the Triple Shot gives you, I think the P90 sound is the best of the bunch.

Yes it can be done, though I'm not sure if the P90 coil is north or south (which would affect exactly how it's wired). If you're going with the full P-Rails set I'd also recommend wiring the neck in parallel as full HB tends to be too hot to really be usable.

I have a P-Rails set in my SG with Triple Shots as I do use all of the available sounds.

I've thought about adding a couple push-pull pots for series / parallel and phase reverse.
