P90 Bridge, Split Humbucker neck?

Hi All,

This is my first post here.

I just built a guitar that I'm having a reverse ground issue on and I can't seem to find the damn problem.

Here's what I have -

Humbucker neck
P90 Bridge
2 volumes
1 tone (splits the neck)
1 3 way toggle

Anyone know where I might find a wiring diagram for this set up?

The Seymour Duncan wiring gizmo will not let me enter this configuration. It will allow a P90 in the neck and HB in the bridge - but not the other way around.

Basically I have the bridge well grounded. But I'm getting noise when I touch any metal parts and a fairly persistent hum. The neck is a GFS Dream 180. The bridge is a cheap ebay Chinese made P90 (which doesnt sound bad but I will admit may also be a major noise component)

I just need advice on the best way to wire such a setup.

Schematics would GREATLY be appreciated!

Thanks!

Just use the P90 neck/HB bridge diagram. Just switch around how the leads are landed on the switch. As for the grounding/noise issue..... some pics and a drawing of what you did would help.

To be fair, I not a fan of the way the new website handles diagrams, but if you follow what J E C said, you will get there.

Last time I tried I couldn't actually get the control configuration in. 2 volumes, 1 push/pull tone, 1 3 way toggle.

Yeah, there are some configurations that are impossible to select, even though I know we have the diagrams.
